Junior Accountant

Our internal Accounts Department is growing alongside with our operations and we are seeking to recruit a dynamic professional to join us in our Limassol office.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Working alongside with the Head of Accounts Department in the day-to-day internal operations of the company
  • Issuing of invoices and receipts
  • Addressing requests from colleagues such as providing statements of accounts, invoices and other documents
  • Maintaining proper records and assisting in the bookkeeping process of our firm.
  • Assisting in the preparation of bank reconciliation statements, suppliers' and clients' reconciliations
  • Assisting in the preparation of the financial statements for audit
  • Involved in payments of taxes, social insurance contributions and other payments on behalf of clients
  • Liaising with the banks on matters of documentation requirements


Qualifications and attributes

  • Holder of the LLCI Accounting qualification or of a similar qualification/degree will be considered as an advantage
  • Prior relevant experience in a bookkeeping of similar professional services department is not required but it would be positively viewed
  • Excellent command of the Greek and English languages, both verbal and written
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Team player attitude, a creative thinker and fast learner
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Great organisational skills
  • Detail oriented and conscientious approach
