We are currently seeking to recruit a high caliber professional to join our tax team in our Limassol office. The position provides the opportunity to work as a tax specialist, broadening tax skills and knowledge, as well as career advancement opportunities.

Duties and responsibilities

  • Assisting in the preparation and reviewing income/corporation tax computations for clients doing business in various industries
  • Preparation and submission of tax returns (TD1, TD4, TD7 etc.)
  • Dealing with various tax matters including tax assessments/appeals, tax registrations/de-registrations, tax investigations and tax rulings
  • Undertaking the preparation of capital gains tax calculations as well as capital statements.
  • Liaising with the tax authorities regarding clients’ tax affairs
  • Keeping up to date with the changes in the field of taxation and informing other affected departments

Qualifications and attributes

  • University Degree in Accounting and Finance or equivalent field and/or a professional qualification (or part-qualification) with the ACCA/ICAEW
  • At least 2 years of experience in tax related work
  • Holder of ADIT or similar professional qualification will be considered an advantage
  • Excellent command of the Greek and English languages, both written and verbal
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (additional software knowledge will be considered an advantage)
  • Attention to detail and drive to deliver high quality work
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication and organisational skills
  • Ambitious and hard-working with an interest in development within the firm
